Welcome! This 5-day summer camp led by Kelsey Osborne Garth, Alejandra López Villegas, and Shahryar Minhas will introduce participants to the R language and environment for statistical computing. R has become the default in much of political science because of the conveniences it provides for data wrangling, modeling and visualization. The idea behind this summer camp is to give graduate students a running start at the beginning of their PhD program. The skills that we cover will show up again and again in the methods courses you take at MSU both in and outside of the department.

Each day of the camp will be held in person in 104 South Kedizie Hall from 10am to 3pm EST. Lunch will be provided at 12pm for participants everyday.
